The acronym S.T.E.M. stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The objective of the STEM initiative is to strengthen effective STEM education programs at all levels, enabling the U.S. to maintain its status as a global economic and technological leader.
Launched in 2010, STEMcp.com is an online resource for parents, students and educators to promote and encourage African American students to pursue careers in science and engineering. STEMcp bridges the gap between corporations who are seeking a fresh and effective online communications platform, to reach young diverse audiences in the pipeline for S.T.E.M. careers, and the students who will serve as talented leaders within the science and engineering community.
